Work Rider (m/f/d)

You are a competent and experienced rider? You are a team player but you can also work independently? You are enthusiastic and getting up early is not a problem?
We are looking for dedicated team players who share our passion for horse care and horse welfare and have excellent work ethics.

Our state-of-the-art facilities include an indoor and outdoor riding arena, private outdoor riding grounds, a horse walker, a grass racing track, a sand racing track, different starting gates, saline nebuliser room for the horses, pastures, and stallion paddocks. Our horses range from unbroken youngsters to experienced race horses.

• Riding up to 4-5 horses per day (including fast work)
• General yard duties, mucking out, feeding, general yard maintenance, tacking up and grooming
• Accompanying horses to the races
• Opportunity to occasionally race one of our horses (depending on your qualification and skills)

• Previous experience with racehorses is preferable, however we also welcome riders that have worked in other equine disciplines with high-level competition horses
• You are a confident and capable rider and are able to handle fit racehorses
• You are reliable, enthusiastic, punctual and competent
• You are able to work as part of a team but you are also able to use initiative when required and are comfortable working independently
• You are not over 10st 7lb (68 kg)
• You are willing to work 5 days a week plus every other weekend
• German language skills would be a plus but you can at least speak English fluently and are willing to learn German while you are here
• You share our passion for horse care and welfare and you have excellent work ethics
• A valid driver’s license is preferable but not a must
